Privacy Policy
NYSFitSports LLC (“we,” “us”) provides a subscription platform for college basketball coaching staffs. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We sell software subscriptions — we do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers.
What we collect
- Account information: your work email address, your program’s name, and a password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider — we never see it).
- Usage data: pages and features used, weight settings, watchlists, lists, and notes you create; standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps).
- Assistant chat logs: questions you send to the in-app assistant are logged (with your account) for rate-limiting, abuse prevention, and quality review.
- Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers. We receive only billing status (e.g., paid/unpaid, renewal date) and the billing contact you provide.
Player data in the product
The Service displays publicly available sports statistics and related analysis about college athletes (names, schools, positions, performance statistics). This is sports data about public athletic participation, not data collected from the athletes as users. Athletes or their representatives may contact nysfitsports@gmail.com about content concerning them.
Service providers (processors)
We share data only with the vendors that run the product:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting
- Stripe — billing and payments
- Anthropic — processes your assistant questions and statistical inputs to generate AI content; we do not permit training on our data per our API terms
- Netlify — application hosting
- Player and team images may be loaded by your browser directly from third-party content servers (e.g., ESPN’s CDN); those requests are made by your browser, not stored by us.
What we don’t do
No sale or renting of personal information. No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. No collection from children — the Service is for institutional staff and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Cookies
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in (authentication/session). No analytics or advertising cookies.
Retention
Account data is kept while the subscription is active and for 24 months after, then deleted or anonymized. Chat logs are kept 12 months. Billing records are kept as required by tax law.
Your rights
Depending on your state (e.g., California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information and to know what we hold. Email nysfitsports@gmail.com— we honor verified requests regardless of which state you’re in. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights. We are a U.S. business serving U.S. institutions.
Security
Access is protected by authenticated logins, row-level security on our database, and role-restricted admin functions. Payments are processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). No method is 100% secure; we will notify affected customers of a breach as required by law.
Changes
We’ll post changes here and email account holders if changes are material.
